Smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. It tastes much better than the matcha I usually make at home.

The Original has become part of my morning routine. It takes less than two minutes to make, and the energy feels much steadier than coffee.

I was new to matcha, but this made it feel so easy. The flavour is balanced, the texture is smooth, and I actually look forward to making it every day.

“A beautifully modern take on matcha, The Usual makes café-quality drinks feel effortless at home, with smooth blends designed for an elevated everyday ritual.”
Matcha delivers calm, focused energy and powerful nutrients. Coffee hits fast and hard - but often with a crash.
Calm, Sustained EnergyL-theanine slows caffeine's release, so you get hours of steady focus — no spike, no slump, no afternoon crash.
Rich in AntioxidantsWhole-leaf matcha delivers catechins and antioxidants in every cup — you're drinking the entire leaf, not just a brewed extract.
Supports Focus and ClarityThe caffeine-and-L-theanine pairing sharpens attention while keeping you calm — alert and clear-headed, never wired.
Gentle on the StomachSmooth and low in acidity, matcha is easy on your stomach — no jitters, no burn, no mid-morning stomach drop.
Quick Energy BoostCoffee hits fast and hard — a sharp jolt that spikes your energy, then leaves you reaching for the next cup.
A Sharper Rise and FallThat caffeine spike comes down just as fast, bringing the familiar afternoon slump and the 3pm craving.
Brewed, Not Whole LeafA brewed extract of the bean — you get the caffeine, but far fewer of the whole-leaf nutrients matcha delivers.
Can be HarshHigher acidity means coffee can be tough on an empty stomach, leaving some people jittery, anxious, or uneasy.
Brand new to coffee alternatives? This is the best and creamiest way to go about it.

Real reviews from real people who start their day with us
Very practical and easy to use. My matcha comes out smooth, and it barely takes any time in the morning.
Love it! It has everything you need for a perfect matcha.
The tins are a good size, and I like having three flavors to switch between. I don’t get bored of drinking the same one every day.
Love my matcha in the mornings. Great way to start my day off right
Everything was super!
So good! I use the unsweetened and add my own flavors. It has a nice earthy taste and doesn’t feel cheap like other matchas.
Light and mildly sweet. Not bitter like some matchas!
I love this matcha! The strawberry flavor is great and smooth with no bitter taste at all.
Very. Add ½–1½ tsp, whisk with a splash of warm water until smooth, then top with your favourite milk. Hot or iced, it takes about a minute. Every tin has full steps, and our electric whisk makes it effortless.
No jitters, no crash. Matcha releases caffeine slowly alongside L-theanine, an amino acid that keeps you calm and focused — steady energy for hours instead of a spike and a slump.
~20 mg per serving in our blends and ~25 mg in Pure — less than half a cup of coffee. Enough to lift you, gentle enough to enjoy any time of day.
Our sweetened blends use organic unrefined cane sugar and natural flavouring — nothing artificial. Prefer none at all? Our Pure matcha is 100% matcha, unsweetened, nothing else.
