Welcome to The Usual. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use our website drinktheusual.com or buy from us through the website, WhatsApp or any other channel. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or place an order.

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Usual, and "you" means the customer.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to give us accurate information, including your name, phone number and delivery address.

2. Our products

  • We sell matcha powder and related products. Matcha is a natural product, so colour, taste and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photos on our website.
  • Matcha contains caffeine. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, sensitive to caffeine or have a medical condition, please check with your doctor before using it.
  • Our products are food products, not medicines. Nothing on our website is medical advice, and our products are not meant to diagnose, treat or cure any illness.
  • Please store our products as shown on the packaging (usually in a cool, dry place, sealed and away from sunlight) and use them before the best-before date.

3. Prices

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD). We may change prices, products or offers at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders we have already confirmed. If a price on our website is clearly wrong because of a mistake, we may cancel the order and let you know.

4. Orders

Your order is confirmed once we accept it, which we may do by message or call. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example if a product is out of stock, the information you gave us is incomplete or wrong, the order looks fake or unusual, or we can't reach you to confirm it. If we cancel an order, you won't be charged.

5. Payment

We accept cash on delivery only. Please have the full order amount ready when the driver arrives. If you place orders and repeatedly refuse to receive them without a valid reason, we may decline your future orders.

6. Delivery

  • We deliver across all of Lebanon.
  • Delivery is free on orders over $50. For smaller orders, the delivery fee is shown at checkout or confirmed when you order on WhatsApp.
  • Delivery times are estimates. Delays can happen because of weather, road conditions, holidays or other events outside our control, and we are not responsible for these delays.
  • Please make sure someone is available to receive the order at the address you gave us.

7. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are handled according to our Return and Refund Policy.

8. Your use of our website

You agree not to use our website for anything illegal, to place fake orders, to try to hack or damage the website, or to copy or misuse its content.

9. Our content

Everything on our website and social media, including the name "The Usual", our logo, photos, videos, designs and text, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not copy, reuse or sell it without our written permission.

10. Reviews and messages you send us

If you send us reviews, photos, comments or ideas, you allow us to use them (for example, on our website or social media) without paying you. You agree not to post anything false, offensive or illegal.

11. Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites or platforms, such as Instagram or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

12. Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep our website accurate and working, but we can't guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or damages that result from using our website or products, and our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Lebanese consumer protection law.

How we collect and use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Lebanon.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use our website or order from us after a change means you accept the new Terms.
